1 out of 5 starsPurchased on 9/3. Item had not shipped by 9/9. Upon query was told seller waiting for funds to clear. Funds had cleared on 9/7 (by seller's own admission). Opened dispute through Paypal. Seller cancelled my order, terming my request for firm shipping date as "rude."

Unfortunately, this buyer did not understand that American Express purchases are not made through PayPal on Etsy, they are processed through Direct Payment, a slower process than PayPal. With the Labor Day weekend, processing was slower than normal. I was explicit about this, about the fact that I received no deposit notice from my bank, and about all dates involved. I was prepared to ship on the 10th after I returned home from work, but because the buyer threatened me, I rescinded the sale. I want my grandmother's possessions to be purchased by kind and respectful people. As a seller, discretion is my right. All buyers should familiarize themselves with the various payment methods and use logic: no sensible seller will ship before receiving notice of payment. This buyer is contentious. Deal accordingly.
